Reimagine Marshalsea

Robert Emmet CDP are delighted to be a part of Community Organisations and Residents Network 'Reimagine Marshalsea' project which has secured the support of Dublin City Council and the Irish Architecture Foundation to reimagine the future of a building that has loomed large in Dublin 8’s community life and history for centuries- Marshalsea Barracks.

Over the next six months a design team made up of local community members and community organisation representatives will work with an IAF appointed architect to develop community led plans for a community resource on the Marshlsea site.

We hope this project is the start of something special both in terms of the development of a badly needed resource on this particular site and as a catalyst for future community led development of underutilized public space in the Dublin 8 area.
