Many thanks to Aideen McLoughlin and Richard Curran for the opportunity to chat about Robert Emmet CDP social enterprises In Our Shoes Walking Tours and Bee8 on The Business RTÉ Radio 1 on Saturday.
As always it was positive to have a chance to remind people of the quality consumer options and positive social impact that buying from a social enterprise can have. It was a real privilege to be able to speak about the benefit of social enterprise versus linear charity or traditional business models on an individual employee / participant.
And it was extra craic parking up in RTE studios in a rented cargo van en route from Wexford to Dublin with 25 nucs of bees! And of course to meet Ingrid Smyth and Marion Keogh Dublin 8 based garden designers- we will be in contact with proposals for collaborative projects v.soon!
