We're
delighted to announce that Austin
Campbell has been appointed as joint CEO
of Robert Emmet CDP and South Inner City Community
Development Association (SICCDA), to
manage day to day operations of both organisations and lead a merger process to
form a single community organisation.
We hope that the merged organisation
will be greater than the sum of it’s (great) parts and have capacity to not
just ameliorate conditions of inequality and poverty existing in the South West
Inner City but affect policy decisions that allow that poverty and inequality
to exist at disproportionately high levels in the first place.
Part of the merger process involves
the development of a plan for the merged organisation. As a grass roots
community organisation we want as many stakeholders as possible to inform our
strategy to ensure our ambition, services and philosophy are aligned with those
of, and have capacity to deliver for, the community we serve
A link to our Partner Organisation
Strategy Questionnaire is attached to this post. A copy of our separate
Community Member Questionnaire is available on request. Physical copies of both
are available from Robert Emmet CDP, 3 Usher Street and SICCDA, 90 Meath
Street., Dublin 8.
Collated questionnaire results will
be used to inform upcoming internal strategy meetings and ultimately the first
five year strategy of our merged organisation.
It's very real stuff, please get
involved and have your say.
Exciting times ahead.
