With a Heavy Heart...
It was with a heavy heart that we watched former RECDP Executive Director Mairin O’ Cuireain pedal off into the sunset for the final time last Friday. The sun tinted against the chrome of her exquisite bicycle as she shunted off towards the wild prairies of a new professional challenge for the first time in eleven years.
Mairin grew RECDP from a small organisation into something that genuinely represents the concerns, and meets the needs, of the community it serves.
She was always kind, friendly and dilligent; a consummate professional who we all wish the best to on her next professional adventure.
