Oliver Bond Regeneration Community Consultation

The regeneration of Oliver Bond House is a significant infrastructure project with real potential to improve the welfare of residents of Oliver Bond House, and, along with the development of Bridgefoot Street Park and other proposed local improvements, shift the narrative on the entire South West Inner City.

The engagement of a variety of stakeholders in the regeneration conversation provides opportunities for the voice of a community which feels traditionally underserved and unrepresented to be considered and valued. As such the outcome of the regeneration conversation will extend beyond the physical implementation of a large capital infrastructure project- a positive process has the capacity to redefine the tenant-landlord relationship and create a new generation of engaged community leaders among residents of Oliver Bond House.

Robert Emmet CDP has observed a real willingness among residents of Oliver Bond House to engage constructively with local stakeholders over the past year and are honoured and excited by the opportunity to foster this further and support residents to play a part in the delivery of a truly transformative regeneration process over coming years.
